Does anybody recognise this, suspect, phone number, 02392379223, from which I received an automated call earlier this morning? The ‘female’ speaking voice, claimed to be from ‘AMAZON’, and wanted me to give, account, details. Needless to say , I hung up and did a ‘Who called me’ phone number search, which showed it was from the Portsmouth area, I wasn’t aware that AMAZON was based in the UK, let alone Portsmouth. All I can say is…….. BE WARNED!

+44 7486 464689 This number is a scammer - they send a text saying … “ hey mum I smashed my phone and I'm using a friends phone to msg you their phone is about to die, can you whatsapp me on 07789175547” The top number is based in Russia - the other number in the UK. Do not reply, block both numbers as they are a Russian scammer . I tried calling both numbers from a withheld number and they are both off. DO NOT ADD THEM ON WHATSAPP! DO NOT REPLY TO THEM!

Try’s to tell you there’s a CCJ against you for unpaid fees to an advertising company (community council advertising working in connection with National crime prevention) recons bailiffs will be attending at 9am. He can stop it if we make a part payment! Didn’t like it when we fired back with lots of legal jargon (read from internet ????). Do NOT fall for it!! Please report

Scammers pretending to be stock trading services. Always a non English accent usually East Europe or Indian. Will offer to send you info on a Whats App link. Avoid like the plague
The automated call says its from HMRC. It's designed to frighten you into selecting the option to be connected to a call centre. I didn't take it any further as it was clearly a very nasty, aggressive attempt to initiate a scam.

Silent call. Received a call from (07458 148209) on my mobile, although very few people know my mobile number. When I managed to answer there was nothing to be heard from the caller's end so I assumed it was some dodgy scammer. An Asian accented female called from this number. Insisting she was from Vodafone. Said she had a deal for me and was given my number to offer this great deal but no details about my contract. I said she should have my contract, she said no, this went back and forth. The deal was worse then my current contract. I said she was wasting my time. She said I was wasting hers and got rude. I said your behaviour and comments implies your are not Vodafone and are most likely a scam. She put the phone down

BT is not my ISP, but call using a local Derby number told me that BT is the parent company of all Interned and Broadband services, not true!
