Probably a scam. Indian young male trying to present as being from a company I did not understand as pronounced by him. He became annoyed and started using a nasty tone and nasty words. Realising has no chances, he hung up the phone and, probably moved to another "customer".

Text Message - from BT SMS. As a Vodafone customer this is being sent via my line to my router to pick up as a message. Unless I actually answer or get the message, the number keeps calling. Have asked for this to be stopped by Vodafone but unfortunately it still hasn't.

Claimed to be from Electricity and Gas Department of Scottish Power.
Scammer/Junk: Said he was from EE and said they had a 35% discount, which is odd because I had just upgraded with EE. Then asked me how much I paid on my last bill, to which I said 'well if you are EE you should know' - Upon which he got sheepish and hung up. Caller ID says it is from Bodmin. This is not someone from EE yet are touting themselves as if they are, as such this is fraud.

Insurance SPAM This number and very similar numbers have been calling me daily for a couple of weeks. I have missed the previous calls but answered today. A very well spoken man said he was calling from some company (I didn't catch the name) to do with my Scottish Widows life insurance. There is no point in reporting to the TPS or OFCOM these numbers that any scammer can buy. The telecoms company Gamma Telecom Holdings Ltd That sold this number also supply a list of phone numbers to call. You are on that list if this number phoned you. Best is to get something like a Panasonic KX-TGJ420E. And leave a Google Maps review for the telecoms company.

Asked if I'd like to be featured as their "(my profession) of the year" for a fee, when I questioned it they hung up. Initially claimed to be from a crime monitoring unit, which was odd since they called from a mobile number.
