Call today supposed to be from BT telling me my IP address was public and hey would make it private. 2 men in what sounded like a room full of people spoke to me. I sked where the were calling from and they gave me an actual BT address in London. I asked the guy if he was Indian and yes he was. I told him the 1st person I spoke with was India too. I asked him if this was a scam. I then heard someone say drop the connection. So looks like a scam to me.

Su nombre es filip, tiene varios números de teléfono y trabaja en el grupo arndeo. Es mui mala persona muí manipulador. Y de lo único que disfruta el hijo......... es haciendo daño a los más vulnerables ,no importa quien es. El funciona solo de ese modo. Avisado queda todo el mundo. Filip=peligro peligro peligro

Robot voice saying that my amazon prime account was set to auto-renew

SCAM Calling to say they think I am eligible for a medic alert pendant but did not seem to know that I already have a Lifeline pendant. Read from a long involved script without listening to replies. Blocked number

Asian accented male called "George" who wanted to know which handset and mobile provider I was using. I asked if he would like to stop wasting time and just ask for my credit card details. He hung up.

Call this morning saying that my Amazon account had been compromised and that money had been taken. I class this as a scam

Rings then hangs up. Treat as potentially dangerous, no place associated with the number.

01512039992 Fake Virgin Media. Had the same scam earlier today on another number- which I reported earlier.

Potential Scam, chap claiming to be from HMRC. No ID, badge etc

Also calls are coming from 01780665046, 01780665029, 01780665037,01780665024, all spam unwanted calls always around 4pm onwards. Do not have any appliances on repair or warranty

01420 563233 called using my name and was obviously from India area. He reckoned he was speaking from Amazon and wanted to talk about an iphone I had ordered at about £740 apparently. Told him to get off the line or I will report him to the police. No doubt what the scam is he wasn't going to do it on me.

Scam call suggesting not existent bank payments

Uber taxi driver that apparently moonlights as a food delivery driver too. Doesn't confirm the taxi job but says you don't turn up, costing you some of the fare. Just Google the number to see how much of a prat he is! Crybaby!

The woman I spoke to said her name was Agent Sophine and she was part of the investigation team, even though she kept changing the name of her department. She was very aggressive and spoke very fast. Claimed to be calling from 'MES' about life insurance. Smelled like a scam right from the off, so it mostly like is. Probably just best to hang up and ignore them. If it's important and a genuine issue they'll just write to you.
