A foreign lady called at 1425 6/1/22 saying she was from the BT technical department to tell me about my IP Address. I said are you really from BT, she replied with “the BT technical department’. To quiz her more I asked what do I have to do - she said nothing.

This landline rang us this morning with a recorded message trying to tell us our Amazon account had been hacked. Obviously ignore as all our accounts are in order. Clearly a scammer, more worrying that it is on a local landline!

HMRC SCAM 07477 169835 - Just received a call from this number purporting to be from HMRC about a letter being returned and threatening legal action and to press One to speak to an officer. Recorded voice message was a female with American accent.
Message to say I had spent £ 700 press 1 if this is correct / press 2 if ... this went to my work phone so could not be linked to any banking detail not sure what would have happened if i pressed a number . I check my bank acc to be sure. no banking appeared

SCAI was called from this number this morning. I had to ask twice who was calling but the caller's accent was so difficult to make out I still don't know where it was from. I did catch something about them submitting a compensation form on my behalf - something I have not done or requested. It all sounded very suspicious so I said they had the wrong number then hung up. I really wish something could be done to put a stop to these constant cold calls. It is unacceptable.

Picked up the call and got a pre-recorded message from an American sounding female voice informing me that I had placed an order with AMAZON for gift cards to the value of £700. If I wished to question or check it to dial 1 or 2. This is clearly a SCAM after my banking details as I have not purchased anything from Amazon. Called us 3 times to sell iPhone 14 pro max plus 256 gb for £35 a month with unlimited minutes, and texts + 1000 International minutes and free roaming abroad. It seemed to be fishy as £35 x 24 months= £840 while the same phone on its own from pc world currents on its own is £1250 - they say they are phoning from pc world currys -and the email they sent seemed flawed. They wanted us to pay about £39 delivery and our bank details for direct debit - but seemed dodgy so just ended the call.
Silent call - didn’t recognise number so was suspicious from the start. Answered by saying ’hello’ - line then goes dead. I guess the point is to call back and fall into some sort of scam. This happens so many times.

I hired this company for removals. They deliver your stuff and then claim there was more with a half empty van. They will hold your belonging hostage until you pay. I would give them 0 stars if I could. The company is called Riight Moves Removals. Satmeal Singh is the main guy, probably already in jail for fraud. I can see he also had a company called Stress 3 Removals and Royale Removals.
