I was getting consistent calls from another number in the same area as this one which I blocked yesterday, and now today I’ve already had two calls from this number in the same area. Well spoken female called back after getting cut off. Said they checked my fuse box ten years ago and wanted to do another free check. Asked me to go to the fuse box. I said it was difficult to reach and it was a consumer unit with circuit breakers. She said in that case no need for a check. Obviously if they'd checked ten years ago they would know what equipment I had. Why I continued to engage with her was we had circuit breakers changed by the makers of the consumer unit as they had found quality issues.

I was called by this number to say someone was trying to purchase 200 on amazon and 700 on ebay. They first said my visa was being used I don't have a visa, then he said it could be a Mastercard? I asked who he was , he said 81 Newgate Street London, but I meant was he from my bank ?, he said he was from barclays , I do not have a barclays account.

This may be a scam as the caller did not identify themself and just said my credit card has been used for 2 payments, I think £800 and £2000, and to press 1 to talk about it. I ended the call immediately.

Called me at 06:39 on Saturday 17 December 2022, which was annoying. No-one on the other end. May just have been accidental or may have been something else.
Maybe an automated call from a call-centre etc,, as just got engaged tone when answering it. So a bit suspicious.

Text job scam on Whatsapp. I never applied for such a thing. There was an “intern” copy pasting the job requirements. The job itself seemed too good to be true. I looked up the actual company said number was impersonating on Linkdin and the roles offered were for experienced workers (not trainees like the scammers said) and had roles for very specific areas of the uk. The scammer couldn't elaborate on where this “job” is based but it could miraculously work from home. They had very bad English grammar.
