Attempt at an O2 scam, told me I was entitled to a free gift and discount on my tariff as a loyalty reward. I then got sent text messages from O2 with a security code that the caller wanted (not given). It was an attempt to access/take over my account.

I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. Re The failed bank payment, the bank itself stopped this money and when I spoke to my bank it was decided that the £149 seemed high for an anti viral program and there was a possibility of fraud. Fraud linked to Applienceplace on Google, selling television set at good prices. Did a street view not what is advertised. Beware.

SCAM purportedly from your bank stating that the fraud department has noticed two fraudulent transactions on your account, the first from Amazon in the sum of £700 didn’t need to listen to the second one. My bank do not use a Manchester address and certainly wouldn’t use a pre recorded message.BEWARE

Automated message from a company whos name I couldn't make out - telling me that my monthly subscription couldn't be taken from my account and to press 1 to discuss the matter. Reading tel number (01189 664419)- I don't have any monthly subscriptions! SCAMMER!!!!!!

Beware. Asian sounding lady claimed to be storing my will and wanted to go through and check for updates. They knew my name and postcode. I hung up and went to our solicitor who said wills are held in their own store and they know nothing about any cold calls.

I had a phone call from 02922229992 clalming to be Eon, who asked if I wanted a 'Smart meter', they wanted my account details.... RED FLAG!!!!! Number 01665604816 seems to belong to a legitimate company, but the number is faked and displayed by thieves trying to access people's bank accounts with fake warnings about illegitimate payments from their account.
