Was telemarketing asking if I were interested in taking up a contract instead of using vodafone payg. Vodafone had text a week earlier to say they would call. The caller said she was from O2 and We were due for a free gift of Wireless Headphones as a security what was my place of birth. I found out that the fraudsters had chaned my password by going on the O2 website and requesting a 6 digit number and asking me to give it to them.. I don't thimk I have suffered losses . I obviously reset my password. The caller was an Indian female, this is not unusual as, Indian Call Centres are experts in fraud I have been involved in investigating Indian call centre.

I received this and replied with Claim to see if I could get someone to call me whereby i would find the company name in order to report them. Someone called me the next day and when I told them I hadn t had an accident but wanted to know who they were, they hung up.

Unsolicited call, caller didn t respond when phone was answered. Presumably the authorities must know to where this phone number is registered and should remove it from the network. My guess it is a scam where they want you to ring back and surprise surprise you get stung with a premium rate call for your trouble.
