got a few missed calls from this number an tried to phone back it cut me off then just recieved a call from a creepy woman saying hi there ive been waiting for your call. Clearly a scam but totally freaked me out!
They claimed to be from EE, and I'm not sure if he said 'my' mobile phone provider, or 'a' mobile phone provider. I am actually with EE and I know that when I get calls from them it isn't from a number in Sunderland. I challenged him on this, and he said that although when we call EE it's 150 when they call back it's from a landline. I know that's a lie as calls I receive back from EE are 0800 numbers. Recorded message from HM Rev and Customs, Officer Lisa Williams advising I had to ring urgently or suffer the consequences of legal proceedings. Asked to call back on 02080894397. 1 hour later there was another call but this time no message, 02080894571 seems to be linked to the same type of scam after searching on the number. Don't give them air space, and certainly don't call back, this is another horrible scam which will unfortunately pray on the more vulnerable in society. SCUM BAGS!!!!
