Two unsolicited calls today. I asked who was calling as she was trying to confirm my name and status. Woman said she was ringing about government energy subsidy. When I asked again what company it was she said Just Glass. I Have seen this name mentioned adversely in other reviews. Told her this and hung up.

One number out of an influx of numbers calling me and hanging up - scamming Paki bastards in scam call-centres routing their calls through unused UK phone numbers to pretend that they're legitimate companies to try and fish for your personal details and use them for fraud. SCAMMERS, asked if they are speaking to (my full name), I said yes and they said they have received a notification to investigate my account. I asked what the reason was for that and they said "well you have outstanding debt that you pay each month, is that right?" I said no, I don't have any debt and they hang up. I've never had a loan, not even an overdraft. So yeah, not a legit number/business.

A foreign lady called at 1425 6/1/22 saying she was from the BT technical department to tell me about my IP Address. I said are you really from BT, she replied with “the BT technical department’. To quiz her more I asked what do I have to do - she said nothing.

Pretending to be from Amazon and saying that I had a £900 transaction taken from my Amazon account and wanted me to follow their instructions and put a code in my phone I told him to call me back in 10 minutes as my daughter would be speak to him and she works with the police he hung up. I did know it was a scam that’s why I said it. I just feel sorry for the people that they do trap as they are scum. If you don’t No them hang up. And don’t give them any of your details.

Someone called introducing himself as Peter Jones from Finance And Investment Solutions Ltd . they are impersonating a business and personal name by using this landline number to sell a personal loan and trying to get money from people.I checked Finance and Investment solutions Ltd by FCA, and I have been told that Finance And Investment Solutions Ltd is a legitimate company offering only mortgages and its telephone number is totally different from this phone number
02081521989 This person called pretending to be a computer and telephone engineer. He wanted to check my broadband speed and land line connections. He wanted me to switch on computers and check broadband speed etc. Of course I did not comply and hung up. I contacted my provider for landline and computer broadband and they are convinced that this is a “Scam"

I have been telephoned this afternoon – apparently by EE – to tell me that I was getting a 45% discount on my bill for the next year? I was then passed on to a supervisor to confirm my email address – which I did. They then said that they would email me and I would need to change the password to EEdefault19: at this point I told the caller I would hang-up.

This number messaged me on WhatsApp “ Have a great day????” and clearly was suspicious. It was marked as a business account, so I don’t know what it was trying to do but I certainly don’t trust it haha.
