My second call this morning from an 01257 number - different ones - both claiming to be a banking service who have detected suspicious activity on my account. They are both automated messages with the same female voice and both claim withdrawals from my (unspecified) account from the same places (Amazon and overseas) but quote different amounts. 01257 is my local dial code, which I suspect is meant to lend credibility to the call. Recorded female claiming to be from Amazon about a recent purchase. I am not an Amazon customer and very unlikely to ever have be one. This call is most likely to be a scam call and would advise not to carry out what is requested .
