A landline from London area - seems to be used by company offering PPI claims from accidents (you probably never had :) ) - the only reason is to gain your personal data, so better avoid this call ad block it... I was checking the number on internet, and it has no related web pages (no wonder) ...

Said he was from sky refunds and that I was due a refund of £202, (I am not even with Sky) Wanted my date of birth when I told him he should already have it he said he didn't have those details. asked him what my account number was, he didn't know. When I said I think was a scammer he put the phone down. Just confirming what everybody else was saying.

phoned me several times, said he was from talktalk and my internet connection was slow. Ignored him and hung up. Have reported this to talktalk.
A foreigner called saying he was from British Gas who handle our Electricity account. Only British Gas doesn't handle our electricity account? I advised him that I suspected he was a scammer. I advised him not to call us again otherwise I would report the number to the Information Commissioners. I then ended the call.
