I keep getting phone calls from people call themselves " Windows " telling my husband and I there is something wrong with our computer / laptop.

A large number of people have been called by the criminals using this fictitious number according to other sites. Their aim is to gain the confidence of people and persuade them to allow access to their computers so they can infect them. Yesterday I was out all day and when I returned I found no less than five calls from a slightly different but equally fictitious number, 01614379874, but still equally recognisable as fake from anyone who has had so many of these calls as I have. This number called the day my elderly dad s house was burgled. My dad has dementia and insists the two are connected, which basically screwed up the investigation and the burglars, who stole his TV, got off scott-free because the police couldn t get any sense out of him.

JUST PUT PHONE ON ANSWER MACHINE. IF U DO OWE TO ANYBODY THE COMPANY WILL WRITE TO U.

Just had a call from a woman calling herself Megan and telling me she was calling from Credit Management. I straight away told the girl I was part of the TPS and could she please remove me from her call list. With that she started screaming at me to SHUT UP, repeatedly.

This number called the other day. Top my knowledge, I, don't know any one from Bridgend. Probably trying to sell me something I don't want!

Just had my second call in 20 minutes and ignore every time. No matter how many times you tell these people you ve paid they don t listen. I even have a standing order set up!!!!

Been having these people call non stop twice a day! I have blocked over 15 numbers which they use since they bombard me with texts and voicemails asking for a Victoria - The funny things is that I m male and I don t know a Victoria! I have told these people to stop calling me and that they have the wrong number. Don t worry a lawsuit will soon be in place for harassment since I have recordings of all communications.

I called the number it came back as not recognised so I replied to the text asking who they are but no reply

Called this morning at 12.32 did not recognise the number let it ring then checked the number is from Hemel Hempstead no history on this number YET.
