Called offering a Domain owned by a business we are friendly with, advising their domain is up for sale. We called the business and they confirmed they are not selling the Domain. Clearly a scam.

SCAMScam. 'Christopher' from an 'accident claims line' regarding an accident on (correct date) that was 'not your fault'. This is around the 10th call in a month using same script from different numbers (all now blocked). Other numbers had reports describing similar calls, supposedly to settle claim for percentage of settlement. No mention of my insurance carrier. Presumably date of accident & my mob number were disclosed by someone with access to insurance carrier's online form for reporting accide

Claimed they were from Windows Service Centre and that someone was trying to hack my computer I told them I wasnt interested and hung up They immediately rang back quoting my name and address I told them my Windows 98 computer wasnt connected to the Internet and they said I paid my Internet quarterly I replied quotfor my tabletquot The woman saw she wasnt getting anywhere and politely terminated the call

Declined the call because was flagged as potential spam. Then I Googled it to find out that it didn't register on Google as a known number. Super suspicious. So I'm blocking the number. Anyone wanting to contact should have my email address.

Fraud called telling me that somebody in the USA has just spent £600 on my debit card and to stop payment they needed my sort number for my account when I said I will contact my bank myself they hung up.

SPAM Going by other reports it is a Bank Scam, claiming 2 dodgy payments on your account. But could also be the dreaded I'm calling from Microsoft - monitoring the worlds IP addresses and yours is being used illegally. Whoever they are block the number and relax. It might be good if you have your Banks fraud team number logged in the phones phone book.

I am suspicious of this number because after receiving a possible ?phishing call I made a 1471 call to discover the number the call came from I was given this number, which I rang. It was answered by a man who told me he was in Kent and i told him why I had called his number but nothing else(my name or location) i suggested he should look into how this could have happened and that his line might be compromised somehow.

They call us several times a day, every day, despite us being ex-directory. Complete harassment. They're supposedly a company that prevents nuisance calls but charge £20pm for that service - clearly a scam as they ARE they nuisance call!

Number 02071124802 phoned me and said they was from start up loans. www.startuploans.co.uk and wanted me to transfer them £58 for the loan to be secured under the insurance. They provided me with a person called Jamin bank details which straight away is strange for a company. I was told it was the managers details as money transferred to the company always bounces back. This number was the one that appeared on my phone as having called me, after receiving an automated call supposedly from Visa, informing me of suspicious transactions on my account and to press 1 to accept or 2 if I did not. Later I phoned this number, using 141 beforehand so they would not know who called, and a man answered...just an "ordinary sounding guy", no mention of an office/bank/or fraud squad. I asked to speak to a random person and apologised for dailling a "wrong number"..

Claimed to be from RBS credit card fraud in relation to an SMS NHS Covid phishing attempt on my phone. Appeared plausible and had some detailed info on my account transactions, however, when calling the number on back of my card, they said they had no record of a call from RBS. Suspect they were trying to obtain additional information to also obtain on line banking log in.
