I invested $150,000 worth of coins with Coin-Flip 3 months ago but they ripped me off the return of investment and the investment capital as well. Thanks to theM for recovering my money back. Twice when I picked up the phone the line went dead. The third time, a lady said something which included the words "Tax refund" but, despite asking her to repeat herself several times, I could not make out anything else she said as she had a very strong foreign accent. So I blocked the number.
Called using my name and asked about a website domain apparently registered to me, without giving any details of who they were. Ended the call immediately.

This number is not secure, it is scammers pretending to be from O2, offering a 50% discount off your monthly bill. Tempting, obviously. They say a text will be sent to confirm this, followed by another text with a code to activate the offer. They will then ask you to repeat the code to them BUT doing this will allow them to take control over your account and possibly other info on your phone. Something didn't feel right so when they rang back for the code I didn't answer but googled O2 scams. Beware.

SCAM This number was the first of three (others were 0208 888 7676 and 01782 254545) which I received on 17th and 18th July 2023, telling me I had security problems with users accessing my computer files. SCAM call from a man with Asian accent who said he was BT Openreach. I asked him if there was a problem with my BT internet. He said yes, how did I know that? I said well why else would you be phoning me? He said it's been running very slow for the last few days to which I replied that it's come to a complete stop because I don't have BT internet. I then told him to do something that I won't repeat and hung up.

Scam message starting Hi mum, I broke my phone. A colleague went along with a similar request to what’s app their new number, then got requests for money to buy new phone.
Somebody purporting to be "Ellie from Options" texting me about my non-existent job application, asking for my address, email address, national insurance number, copies of passport, birth certificate, proof of national insurance, copy of my Cscs card (whatever that is!) back and front, 2 x working references. Obvious phishing exercise. Fraud

Does anybody recognise this, suspect, phone number, 02392379223, from which I received an automated call earlier this morning? The ‘female’ speaking voice, claimed to be from ‘AMAZON’, and wanted me to give, account, details. Needless to say , I hung up and did a ‘Who called me’ phone number search, which showed it was from the Portsmouth area, I wasn’t aware that AMAZON was based in the UK, let alone Portsmouth. All I can say is…….. BE WARNED!
