This was an unsolicited call so unwelcome. I didn t answer but phoned them back and got their name from a recorded message.

This number calls you, you get a brief ringing tone and the call is answered silently and drops the line when you answer. Probably illegally locating live numbers for unsolicited calls.

I receive calls from this number on my mobile, home phone and work phone, they purport to be from Lloyds Bank, they ask for your date of birth and postcode, I ask them who they are, and what it is about, they say it is a personnel banking matter, I ask them to tell me more in general terms, they tell me to contact my bank, i tell them I have, I then ask them to stop calling me and remove me from their data base and to write instead . Best cold call ever. I answered, I was asked for by name and I asked who was calling. The fella said AMS Legal so I said I m not interested and put the phone down. They called back straight away and straight off the same person said what are you not insterested in? - I laughed and said are you for real to which he replied yes, very much and you ll never know about the opportunity that you ve just missed out on and hung up. Keeps calling my mobile. I just ignore it . I did add it to my blacklist a while ago but had to remove it to make room for other annoying numbers, seems like they don t give up. Added to my blacklist again.

Purports to be Booking Group. Seems to be a scam. It is linked to a number claiming that the subscriber has won a prize in the U.S. lottery.

Keeps ringing every other day

I could hear someone, but when I said hello they put the phone down.

Over past month this number calls and either does not answer or hangs up straight away. This is a company phone and it is getting annoying having to answer when busy.

Thats twice now and the caller hangs up as soon as you answer. Boring.

Scammers trying to sell telephone preference services to stop nuisance calls.. They have some of my debit card data and attempted to confirm security numbers on back for security reasons. When I asked them to provide a number I could call them back on, they were unable to provide one. Do not give any information to these people. This is a known scam.
