Suggest you keep them hanging on the line as long as possible but don't download anything or give them your details. Just string them along and frustrate them. Then give them a mouthful of verbal abuse when you are ready to hang up. Number was +44 (0) 7444496409.

Recieved call from this number on my work phone. I am a building manager located in Auckland, New Zealand and have nothing to do with the locality it is based in. Going by past experience calls to my work phone from overseas numbers are always scams, didn't answer and having looked on this website it appears I was correct.

If this number contacts you about a "recruitment", it's a scam. Do not engage. And certainly don't deposit any money into their service, you're not getting it back.

SCAM - texted to say I owe postage and a link. The number isn’t linked to any courier company and isn’t how companies contact in these situations.

01202627797 called today. It was automated and said they were from Visa fraud team. They were holding a payment of £800 (and something) pounds which was a suspicious payment on a gambling site in America. I was told to press 1 if this wasn't me and to be connected to the fraud team. Obviously I just hung up, searched the number which didn't come up with anything, I checked my bank accounts and rang the bank's fraud number. As I thought, it was a scam.

SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. I believe that someone called me from this number was trying to con me. I was told that my bill was being reduced by two pound. I simply said ok thank you and hung up. This call came out of the blue and I live by the phrase if it comes to you out of the blue, it's not for you.

SPAM This number leaves an automated robotic sounding message with a slight american accent if the call is unanswered. But the 121 message service only catches the end of the message which asks you to press now to avoid court proceedings. Therefore this appears to be a Scam and the number should be treated with extreme caution. This is the second time in a few days I have been targeted and the number also had 07738 prefix but followed by 207964

SCAM trying to force people into changing to WhatsApp dating scam

UK Number 7442644606 Caller plays an automated message saying 'Your National Insurance has been compromised in Wales etc...Before we take any Legal action against you for its misuse, talk to our officer". This seems highly suspicious as there have been no notification whatsoever for the same via either postal-mails or emails etc.
