This number called the day my elderly dad s house was burgled. My dad has dementia and insists the two are connected, which basically screwed up the investigation and the burglars, who stole his TV, got off scott-free because the police couldn t get any sense out of him.

I was just called by somebody saying they were from UK Financial. The said they had a cheque for me for money i was owed from bank charges. They knew my address then asked me to confirm my date of birth. I told them i was not giving it to them as i had never heard of them. When i said this they hung up!

Found this number in a PBX log system. The called number is not in use. This number is calling numbers outside UK. Probably spam.
SCAM - Claimed to be calling from The Insulation Advisory Board in Reading - it doesn't exist. Stated that insulation installed under previous 'Green Scheme' needed checking for damp every 4 years and they would arrange to do it for Free!! Mildly irritating and worrying for the unworldly. Declined to give details and they rang off.

SCAM - Person claimed they were from UK Insurance Department / Black Horse Finance. Had my name & first line of my address (somewhat disturbingly) and wanted me to verify further information for a PPI refund, even though I had never claimed for a PPI refund. They wouldn't give me a number to call and when I said this couldn't be correct, the date for claiming for PPI has long gone and companies aren't ringing people out of the blue years when they haven't claimed, he hung up.

Somehow they have managed to get money from me twice in two nights, one being a 3hr call at 22.57 costing 44.85 and another for at 01.57 for a 1hr call at 23.35!!!! Raging how can this be!! SCAM - Machine talking on the line when you pick up. Claims to be calling form HMRC and that they spotted fraudulent activities on your tax account and you need to press 1 in order to talk to their next available agent. It says if you don't press 1 you will be arrested shortly. After pressing 1 music starts playing and every now and then a machine advises that "your call is very important to them" and your call will be transferred to the next available agent, please stay on the line. disco

I have had a call from this number again today. Told them before to take my number of there list. When they answer the phone they say you must report for a hearing check up straight away. When I asked why they said I had worked in industry. When I said that I worked in an office as admin they hung up. They still keep calling.
