Strange one this .....actually shows I called them on my mobile bill....[ but as 001 800 103 45454, which shoes as international number ..USA / Canada ??? ..I co-incidence ??] Not sure how this happened but suspicious .....some scam ..

Received a number of calls from this company claiming to be working with Convention Experts for a Show they didn’t know the name of and had the wrong company name. When asked who provided them our details they wasn’t able to answer. Just scam artists!!!

SCAM; Prerecorded message from "bank security" to say that 3 suspicious payments had been made on my card, and to press 1 to discuss this with an "operative"

Caller fraudulently advised he was from my bank, wanting my security details, which I declined to give. He advised he was cancelling my debit card, and could not send me a new one without those details, and that a fraudulent purchase had been made with my card. Hung up, and phoned my bank, who advised it was an attempt to steal my card details. Beware, never give out details unless you have made the call to a verified number.Fraud

I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. Re The failed bank payment, the bank itself stopped this money and when I spoke to my bank it was decided that the £149 seemed high for an anti viral program and there was a possibility of fraud. My mobile phone rang and when I looked at the screen it was flashing red and the words 'SCAM CALL' also flashing along with an exclamation mark in a circle. Needless to say that the call was not answered.

SPAM - some sort of bitcoin scam, hung up because I had no time to listen to their blabber

Called, said they were from our bank. Said there were two withdrawals of substantial amounts that seemed out of character for us. Then said they needed to go through security questions. I hung up, called the bank and it's another scam.

Claimed to be from Virgin Media about an internet connection. Worrying signs, firstly did not have my name as a contact or any reason to indicate I have an Virgin account. Also they are using a local number, for a very small area, which to my knowledge does not have a Virgin office.

Knew my address and asked to come to my house to carry out repairs.

SCAM . Put the phone down on Leeds number which was a sounded like a scam - claiming to be fron O2. Rang me back straight away on this number. Clearly spoofing number ID.

This appeared to be from a Bank, it didnt say which alleging that there had been two suspicious transactions on my card and asking me to press a number on my phone to accept these transactions. The message was recorded.

I answered and he hung up after saying something I didn't quite hear seemed surprised I answered I've had 4 calls from this number when trying to ring it back to see who it was unknown number response I would say scam number now blocked
