This caller was female told me she was from Microsoft. I kept repeating go awey go away, you are a scam. Still tried to talk me into listening, put the phone down. It was annoying to say the least, I think it was a scam.

SCAM This number was the first of three (others were 0208 888 7676 and 01782 254545) which I received on 17th and 18th July 2023, telling me I had security problems with users accessing my computer files. I was told that I needed to open my event viewer logs so that they could help me to block the users etc. After playing dumb and stretching out the phone call - I eventually told them that I knew they were trying to scam me - which met with a tirade of abuse - especially from one female calling herse

We have 2 phones sending 2051 sms. Both are Nokia C21 plus and appear to have been hacked or have malware in stock ROM. Other owners of this phone are reporting the same problem. Lady claimed that unknown to myself I have a bitcoin account open in my name with 4.5 bitcoin in it. All I needed to do was prove my identity and she would kindly sort out how I could activate the account and claim my money. It had apparently been opened accidentally when I had clicked on an advertising link. Isn't that just too good to be true?

The call was in relation to a card payment. The call seems fradulant as the card type mentioned was visa and this was wrong.

I mean is that because NatWest are hot on Fraud totally put the phone down at this point! Be very vigilant!

SCAM - AVOID AT ALL COSTS Absolutely a scam. Caller knew my name. Said scammers in Bulgaria have been using my name to trade & there's £88k sitting in an account he wants to transfer to me. All I had to do was download anydesk.com. No thanks. This is how scammers connect to your computer, take control of it and steal your money. When I hung up he called me back from a slightly different number offended that I had hung up. DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THESE PEOPLE.

I have already reported this number. It is the dialling code owned by mobile provider Hutchison 3G UK Ltd. I do not know the ID of the phone number 874428 other than what garbled message I've heard suggests it may be from India. I'm unable to make a connection but Hutchinson's have an Indian call centre; from a limited number of reviews it seems Hutchinson's don't have a very good reputation as a provider of services.
