A very dubious sounding Rachel left a voicemail on our business number claiming to be from BT requesting an email address for our IT/Office Manager regarding our BT Internet update. We do not have BT Internet!! Yet another dodgy scam to avoid.
Ringing up fishing for post codes and sort codes. Beware.
got a call from this number today. Said she was B.T. and that my internet line had been playing up for a few days. Told her it was fine and she hung up. Asian accent.
Silent call, hung up as soon as I answered.
SCAM
There are several negative comments with regard to this number, but I have to say that I am grateful for the call as they are in fact a company that are used by dentists that leave a recorded message reminding you of your appointment. I can understand some of the negative comments, but that is not the fault of the company as they can only respond to the telephone number entered and it only takes one digit to be mistyped for the wrong person to receive the call.
Said there from BT and my internet line has been compromised. 10th or so call in the last week, block the number each time but they come back with a new one

3-4 calls every day. Ring off if you attempt to complain. Premium rate to call them back what a load of plonkers. Seriously I agree with other comments about finding out who they are and giving them some of their own medicine it would serve them right to get sued for harassment.

SCAM I had a phone call from 020 8298 3548 at 3:01pm this afternoon on Thursday 25th February 2021. It was an automated message saying that I had an outstanding balance and an arrest warrant was issued for my arrest and I should press 1 to speak to a representative about it. Claiming to be from Opus saying that another business had received our meter reading on their bill and were complaining about the high amount they were being asked to pay. Given that our electricity usage is very low, this doesn't seem a likely scenario. Could not satisfactorily answer why if they had made a meter reading cock-up it was anything to do with us. Why would we need to be involved at all? Told them I was suspicious of the call and hung up.
