Automated "suspicious activity" message, mentioned £1000 foreign transfer. I let them talk to my answering machine and ignored. Interestingly, had another call 10 mins later, this time from 01732 896820 - they hung up immediately my machine kicked in. Probably the same scammer using different numbers??

Called saying they're from Carphone Warehouse, offering me an iphone. Thought I'd play along for a bit instead of hanging up. Asked where they're based so, so I could see if they're far from me. They hung up immediately. Ah well, so much for my game.

01182-308128 -308140 -302112 are all scams. Phone rang and caller (a computer) hung up when I didn't speak! These are computer generated calls searching for voice lines. If you answer "hello" or "anything else", the line will be logged as a 'VOICE LINE' and you'll get called back later by a con-artist! If your phone rings and you don't recognize the number DON'T SPEAK! JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear anything & the line then goes dead then you've just successfully escaped being scamme

I have a Sky and 02 contract, different phones. I had a call from this number purporting to be 02 on my Sky phone; took me a while to realise! Offered me a 45% discount on my bill for 2 years with no catches??? Spoke in an Indian accent, very fast, so not easy to understand. He was momentarily interested in sending it to my laptop until I told him it was a work issued laptop. Told him my phone was not internet connected as I found it to distracting and he hung up without a goodbye.I suspect the thought of a work issued laptop put him off as it would have good security and catch the rogue link he wanted to send me?

On answering the call the caller said my electricity account was due to expire. It is not, in fact it has another 12 months to run from February 2023. The caller spoke with an accent. Due to this the call was ended.

This number called me claiming someone had used a visa card in my name for a £900.00 purchase. They then asked for bank details, passwords etc, I don't have a visa card, this is most definitely an attempt to access my bank account in a criminal way for criminal purposes.

10/03/22 at 10.37am. I answered with hello. A man said; "I'm fine and if somebody has complained about me I'm fine. Goodbye" He then hung up. He sounded angry. I have no idea what this call was about. To-date (in the 27 years I have had this number) I have never had a 'wrong number' type of call, as far as I am aware it is not similar to any local business/official numbers!
