For once, an unknown number that is actually legit. It was a call from Thames Water. I didn t answer as I didn t recognise the number but the voice message was genuine with specific details (including the correct address) about a drainage issue I d discussed with them earlier. Genuine call.

Asked for email address as I didn't have the time to speak, told them to send me an email as they seemed to have my info, but he could only confirm my name, so I hung up. I had a text message from this number posing as Hermes for a delivery that had been missed today and it asked me to go to a link and enter name, address, date of birth - at this point I stopped as I don't see why a delivery company needs that information, and on checking further, none of my due deliveries were from Hermes - this is a scam!

They have taken £39.99 from my account and still waiting for my loan which I know now wont arrive. My advise to people is to cancel your bank card at your bank stating the reason for cancellation as this loan company may take further funds. You will then receive a new bank card which will stop them from taking further funds.
