A woman with a South East Asian accent phoned to say that she was from Microsoft Windows security, there was a security issue with my computer, was it on, and then asked me to perform certain key strokes. I didn t.
Called this morning. Background noise of call centre for a couple of seconds then they hung up. I suspect scam referring to internet provider.

I ve had a couple of calls form this number, answered the first, silence. Didn t answer next time. My number is registered with TPS.

Phishing claiming to be from amazon, will send you a OTP (one time password) to log into your amazon account. Claimed that an unauthorised order for an Apple Macbook Pro had been placed on my account. Asked for my card details so that they could my account safe, sounded very convincing. Didn't give them my details and since checked with amazon and there was no order on my account.
