I just got a call claiming (falsely) to be from this number, claiming (again falsely) that it was BT Openreach (or something). When I politely declined, the caller said (as they hung up) "Fuck you, fuck you in the face". Which may well have been the only genuine thing about the call. Out of curiosity, I called the (Bristol) number back, but the person who answered said they hadn't used their phone this morning (and sounded nothing like the first caller). Indian call centre claiming to be BT Openreach. Claim my modem is sending signals that there is low speed on the line. As soon as I claim that there is no issues with the speed the call is unceremoniously and abruptly ended. Queried with BT Openreach on twitter to confirm not genuine.
