Unknown from London. Probably scammers!
Had a call from them. Thought to wind them up too. Asked if I had an accident. I replied yes. Asked when? I said 6 months back? I Said I can be liable for compensation. I replied great. Asked how the accident happened. I said I was in a plane, the pilot was over speeding and drove through the red light and hit with a train. I grabbed a parachute and jumped. Had a call at 08:40 on a Sunday morning with a message to ring bt.com/the name of a bank. This was a second attempt. Thanks for the advice re deleting this messaging service.
Fake HMRC call
SCAM Woman with foreign accent called from noisy call centre/scam centre claiming to be from the FCA and insisting I have Bitcoin in an account I supposedly was gifted when registering an account with a cryptocurrency trading platform. I forget the name but I do know I've never traded crypto or registered on such sites. Put the phone down on her and she hasn't called back. Besides, if this were FCA I'd receive an official email or correspondence and certainly not from a Mobile phone number.
