Unknown number. Left it to voicemail and it was a machine giving options between English and Chinese. Only caught the end of the English section so I don't know what it was for other than "press 1 for English, 2 for Chinese"

Safe number - she works for RBS and called me after sorting out my mortgage. One reviewer said banks don't use mobiles but since COVID their advisors increasingly do.
Call center
Bank Scam: Call to my landline - a recording of a female robotic voice with an American accent told me that 2 transactions has been made on my card that were potentially fraudulent. The recording went on to tell me the transaction details and told me to press 1 to authorise them or press 2 to speak to someone
Rang off when I answered which usually implies scam so blocked
Scam number, called my daughter and charged her £20 for the privilege

rang twice so far but hung up when answerphone kicked in must be scam
I didn't answer, but called back with my number witheld. It's a company called 'smart compare'.
