Automated call claiming to from HMRC in connection with a tax fraud case openned in my name.
This is a call from a very thick Chinese guy who speaks poor English. He keeps on insisting that you answer some lifestyle questions. When you refuse he will hang up and call back the next day. If you ask him to remove your number from their database he will hang up. It is from Today s Living Marketing Survey. Long pause when I answered then Mike said he was calling from BT Security. When I said, okay, why s that then? he hung up.
SCAM / SPAM Automated service - claiming they have been told youve been involved in a accident. Sounds like it goes through to some Indian call centre when you say you have been involved in an accident - to be able to speak to a human to tell them to bugger off and leave you alone. Unsolicited trash. If Id have had ore time Id have created a whole long crash scenario and then hung up. Im on TPS and they still cold call
