I answered the call to an automated lady speaking in a foreign language (Asian) with music in the background. I hung up before it went any further.

Scammers trying to obtain insurance policy information
Automated call Recieved a call from this number threatening it was a Fraud investigation giving me a reference number then directing me to press one to get through to an agent. If I hung up and ignored the call I may end up with a fine or court proceedings.no reference as to what the call was related to? Very strange and no reason why I would even recieve such a call. I ended call without proceeding but want others to watch out for such calls as the ber search brought up nothing in terms of an organisation

I was called by someone called Chelsea from carephone who offered me an upgrade phone. She also gave me the number 08448933933 if I had any problems. I did receive the phone but didnt like it. I phoned the number and gave up after 57 minute being on hold. I am then found another number within the paperwork for the phone for E2Sales and Call direct Carephone warehouse they both said they ahd never heard of the number, I then googled it and read the frightening comments. i am now wandering what hefty phone bi

I suggest that anyone who is not to register with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS), you will be the given the option to report this number, as I have, and hopefully they will take action.
