Carphone wharehouse cold calling, as my current contract is closing with 02.. my contract phone is direct with 02 so no idea why im recieving calls from Carphone Wharehouse..

I just received a call from this number with a recorded message which stated that the caller was from HMRC and that a tax fraud case had been reported against my name (but did not say my name) and if I did not press 1 immediately, a warrant would be issued and I would be arrested. It is quite obviously a scam. DO NOT PRESS 1.
Claimed to be from Microsoft and told me to switch on my computer. I said I wouldn't. Caller told me I was speaking like an idiot. Told him he was rude. His response "Go f**k yourself"
