I also used What car valuations and immediately received a call from this number. When I answered they hung up. I received another call a few days later. Nobody answers and line goes dead as soon as I answer.

Called me 3mins. ago,- recorded message --sounded like a scam call. Something about a £900 payment on a debit visa. I put the phone down ,before she finished talking.
Fraud: Called up pretending to be HMRC saying there is a case open in my name and if I don't give them my bank details a warrant will be issued in my name and the police will come and arrest me. Never laughed so hard in my life!!
Dodgy roofers. If you recognise this number do not pick up. They are a scam and charge you and extraordinate amount for a poor job and do not follow up on any remediation work required.

This is a Bedford number so it will be the scammers at J Talk pretending to be your BT manager. Somehow got my personal mobile number but when told the time of day he rang the company number immediately. BT, how do these people obtain private details, someone must be passing them on?

Fraud: they are using a very old database, and claiming to be selling appliance insurance. When I said that the person they were trying to contact had not been on our number for over five years, the caller just hung up. No apologies, just rude. Hence, fraud/scam.
