We ve had this call a few times, usually at the same time of day. When we say the home owner is not there they just put the phone down,

These people repeatedly call phishing for information stating that they are calling about a car accident. Maybe some poor souls they call talk about an accident they may/ may not have had and pass on personal details. It appears to be a scam and the only way to avoid them calling is to block their number. They called my number >10 times over past 6 months and have never taken it off their system. FYI I was never in a car accident.

Got a call from this number. Did not answer and they did not leave a message. Called back using 141 before the number and, surprise surprise, the number is not...

The chap called me and said he had a missed call from me to his mobile number. I have not called anyone today. So no clue who he was or what company he was from.

Old scam - after your data to sell onto other criminals who disregard the law. Just hang up. Good reporting them to the ICO. You don t even need to know their name, just their number. Keep ringing if you answer they keep you on phone no matter what you say , if you ask them not to phone back they still do just had my 20th phone call told them I was reporting them for harassing phone calls !!!! Rang me back with silent call and cut phone off report them !
