I receive frequent calls that i no longer answer. Initialy I was offered an 'investment opportunity' and it seems they just won't take no for an answer! Hopefully they will give up soon.
A call from this number to my grandmother offered a security service she said straight away she was not interested and put the phone down. They phoned back straight away and said that was very rude and used her first name. It was suggested that they should use her surname as they did not know her and he said I know you . A further call was left unanswered. This was quite upsetting. Something should be done about such calls.

I had to call this number for an activation code for a job to work from home, just checked my phone bill and it cost me £!!! And the activation code was a fake!! DO NOT RING THIS NUMBER IT IS A SCAM

"Microsoft" scam, claims she's from Microsoft and there's a problem with my computer and wants to take over my computer to put it right (she must of thought was born yesterday!) so played along with her for a few minutes before calling her a scammer and that there is nothing wrong with my computer. I checked with Homeserve because, coincidentally, I was expecting a call from them but it was not a number that I recognised - It is definitely not Homeserve, it is presumably a scammer. The proper number for Homeserve, if you need them, is 0800 247 999. What worried me and I mentioned it to them, is that Google currently puts ads for the scam number at the top of their search results. Homeserve are looking into this. I hope this information helps.
