Was cold called from this number today - I think it was a scammer - pretending to be a senior network technician from BT wanting to ask me about "error messages from my internet wifi connection". From the questions I was asked, I think it likely they were about to try to get me to give them remote access to my computer. I told them not to phone me again and out the phone down.

Received a call offering a free tablet, declined as I did not believe they were calling from Vodafone themselves, and hung up. Then received a seemingly automated text message from Vodafone advising the call was genuine, but the grammar in the text was poor - "infact", "you wasn t sure", "removed you from our list of customer" - so I can t be sure if it is genuine.
