We received a silent call from them which locked our line for a few minutes even when we put the phone down and pick it up again. We dialed 1471 and got the above number which I called on my mobile but withheld our number and they identified themselves as the above company, as soon as we got the name, we hang up. Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. Got the same type of call - a recorded message Talking about a grand and Pensions and that I m under 60 - Wrong .... Press 5 or 9 - I chose to do neither. It has to be some kind of marketing call. Avoid. They ll probably be trying to get some part of your pension pot for themselves. I m on the TPS so shouldn t be getting this type of call.
