Initially polite but then became more defensive, talking over me as I explained I was on the TPS and this was a work phone - he refused to accept I had not opted in for a call from them. I asked for my details to be removed. "

"absolute nightmare,after dozens of phonecalls and missed calls from this number i finally answered to be met with a barrage of abuse and lairy mouth off sum 15yr old kid of asian persuasion, i.m.o total scam whatever srvice they provide it seems they want u to sign up instantly with no questions asked, once u scratch the surface with them and dig deeper there attitude turns on a 6pence and all the abuse ensues... iv since downloaded a free app on appstore which lets u enter numbers and block them coming thr"

The first few times i answered their calls i asked them to remove my phone number from their data base and over 4 months later i am still being hounded.. These days i do not answer and i am registered with Tps so they should not be calling me at all!!"

I don t have internet at home, I have a wireless device paid for by my work and have never had a internet/broadband account. Must be purchasing peoples details and ringing up and taking a shot to see if they have internet and if they can get them to switch. a very poor approach so my advice, stay well clear of this service. "

Scammers abroad with a British number again...yawn do they think we are all that thick?
Had a missed call from this number. Thought it was a normal mobile so rang them back. I was then told by my mobile company I had insufficient funds to make the call. I have free minutes as a PAYG customer, but always keep a bit of credit as well just in case. I then found that calling this number had cost me money, not sure how much, but if I had had more credit I think it would have cost a lot more. My network have been very unhelpful about this!
This call - 01582766507 - at 8.15am this morning was from Microsoft ringing to tell me their system had picked up that my computer was being targeted. I hung up.
Asian accented guy called claimed to be from Virgin Media. Problem with my internet connection. Press the Windows key and type in certain things he'd show me and then fix it. I strung him along for a while. Supervisor tried the same. When I refused he said my internet connection would be switched off. I enjoyed our chat as while he was talking to me he couldn't be trying to con anyone else. He told me to f*** off. That confirmed he wasn't from Virgin as they don't usually end calls like that!
Calling regarding an accident I had that wasn t my fault. I responded that I m on the Telephone Preference Service and then the automated questions continued. I hung up.
