Automated phone call scam which will tell you HMRC is filing a lawsuit against you, and to press 1 to speak to a caseworker to make a payment. Don't pick up or end up the call immediately.

Telephone call claiming to be form the Visa Mastercard security line allowing me to select option 1 to cancel 2 attempted transactions this morning. One for £600 and the other for £900. Scam.

This caller is a Scam number wanting to obtain your bank details for an alleged unauthorized transaction from your bank. My advice hang up straightaway.

Had a call from this number saying they were the fraud department of Barclays but this is not true.
This is Softcat IT sales calls.
SCAM Warning this a Russian number claiming to be a government website to offer a cost of living payment. They ask for bank details.
I didn't answer, so messaging cut in. They held for the message time but said nothing. I don't trust this number.
This number phoned me areas just very loud white noise.
SCAM Please be aware that this number is a fraud!!! They disguise as a competition that you can win £1000 in vouchers then ask you for your sort code of your bank card under pretext that you won the draw and to redeem the money you are required to prove my identity. Please do not share any of the personal details over the phone unless you are certain that the details are safe from scam or fraud!!!

Phoned today saying they were B.T. and asking for direct debit information. Sounded of Indian origin.
Claimed to be Visa ringing about fraudulent transactions on my account. First warning sign - Didn't know who I was. They should know whose account the transactions were on Second warning sign - As far as I'm aware Visa don't contact people direct, your card issuer will contact you. So it would have been Lloyds, Halifax, barclaycard, etc
Automated Scam call claiming to be internet service provider (Didn’t say which one) claiming Illegal activity on my Internet. They said my Internet would be shut down within 24 hours if I did not press 1 to discuss. Please just ignore if you receive one and hang up.
