Honestly, GDPR was a waste of time, penalising honest businesses but scammers and thiefs are safe? Just don't pick up a number you don't know, why would your Insurance call you? They never do.

caller identified herself as Jennifer (Asian sounding voice) & said she was calling from BT & there was a problem with my computer & my service was about to be cut off. I was slightly concerned since I have a BT broadband account & was using my laptop at the time, but the tone of the call felt bogus so I hung up & checked number via Google.

When you ring back they say that they are a company blocking nuisance calls, but, I guess if they were, they wouldn t be doing it themselves and they would probably try and sell you something, not just hang-up

These guys call saying they are from EE and offering special deals. Then they asked for my personal information. When I questioned why they needed my data they stated that the number they called on (which appeared on my handset) if listed on the EE website under the security section. I hung up and checked. I rang Aberdeen Porsche Centre about a second hand car they had for sale, unknown and without my consent, they have passed my details on to an "Independent Review Provider" who rang me today from this number saying they were "calling from Aberdeen Porsche Centre" for some feedback regarding my enquiry with them. Disgraceful how companies are able to pass on personal mobile numbers to a third party without any consent.

This number has been bothering me for a few weeks now and I ve ignored it - Answered it today and it was a company telling me they had been informed I ve been in a car accident that wasn t my fault.. "Is that right" she asked. I think the company is sigma or something similar. When called back it says incorrect number.

This number has called me 5 times over the last few days. I'm sure it is a scammer and have blocked the number without actually speaking to the caller.
It is PPI(Personal Protection Insurance) DO NOT CONFUSE IT WITH PIP (Personal Independence Payment).
Called at 7.30 am, said they were Microsoft calling about my computer!!!! Hung up.
