SCAM Another suspected Scam Call - Automated service stating it's the national crime agency, suspending my national insurance number due to fraudulent activity.

Premium rate number rang my landline and hung up.
I played along for a few mins, then asked if he could wait a sec - I put the phone on loudspeaker and carried on with my work. After a few minutes he angrily demaned "what the fuck are you doing??" before hanging up

Unsolicited. Recorded message saying "suspicious activity on bank account" -- press 1 to go to operator. Details of money given but no details regarding holder of account or bank details. TOTAL SCAM -- DANGEROUS -- BEWARE??!!!

Phoned a few times saying they were a medical research site asking what medication you use. Glad to say a have told them to go away but not in those words.

Automated call
TAXES / HMRC claiming I'm guilty of fraud and asking me to press 1 to speak to someone about it. I'm not guilty of a thing & don't need to deal with any tax related issues. Any mobile phone number should be automatically suspect for anything government wise, surely it'd be a landline & a letter would be received by post.

This number was a genuine residential number originally but has been cloned and is being used as a cover for scam calls. Virgin Media are aware of this and are removing the number.
