Pre-registered message saying I did tax evasion and there is an arrest warrant on my name, but they knew my name. Asked to press 1 to get more information, I didn't, so they hang up. Checked on HMRC's website and apparently, this is a common scam.

Sounded like a computer programmed to give responses trying to sound as if it were an actual caller. Called from the Excellent Advice Company about an accident I had which wasn't my fault. Claimed to have got the information from the Road Traffic Accident Department but they ended the call when I asked which company this department worked for. Presumably no pre-programmed answer for that question.
