This number is repeatedly calling me, sometimes no answer. Sometimes Asian voice. Have been on price comparison site recently and it started from then, so beware!
Regarding your recent car accident etc.
SCAM . . . . . starts with a text "Where are you? I'm waiting for you". If you reply you will be marked down as a 'responder' and active with replying to texts (or even worse, possibly phone calls). Simply ignore it and block the number.
Said they were from the HMRC, a male voice with well spoken English accent saying a TAX FRAUD had been detected against my tax details. Also said I would be arrested shortly, at that point I hungUp laughing.... :)

0161 9741694 have just been blocked by me as again they ignore my request to stop calling me. They ask about a car accident I have had in the last 2.5 years which I have not had. I asked him to remove my name and number from their list and then he put me onto someone else who was pushing the same agenda. At 8.20am I answered my land line thinking it must be important and was a local number. It was a automated message saying ‘thank you for your payment of £299 for anti virus, if any problems please call our free phone number’ The number I’m afraid I didn’t get and it didn’t say any company either. I’m sure this is a scam of some sort that they catch you when you call to complain so very much aimed at the trusting, naive or elderly.
