Phone hung up as soon as I answered. When I phoned them back it said the number was disconnected. I think they may have spoofed the number.
SCAM: Received a text to my mobile , supposedly from MY BRITISH GAS saying ' We were unable to accept your amount due, visit mybritishgas-uk.com to update'. Looked it up online, as I'm NOT with British Gas, and yes, it's a phishing text to get your bank details. Apparently the site it leads to is very realistic, and people have been caught out. Seems there is an email version too. Number blocked!
