Received a call from this number a couple of days ago. They said they were from "TALK TALK" and were calling to verify my number. Only afterwards I wondered what this was all about and whether this was legit. So I did a little research and called "TALK TALK" and they don t even own this number. The number hasn t called since, but now I m worried that perhaps they just wanted to verify that my number was being used so that they could sell it to others.

Called and asked for me by name. When I said yes proceeded to give some spiel about being some company carrying out a survey re an insurance claim I d made for an accident. When I said I d never been in an accident/made a claim and asked for my name to be taken of the list, she hung up!
