Just got called by this number for the first time, it was an Asian woman wanting to discuss a matter regarding my account with lloyds. She wouldn't tell me any more, unless I "confirm" my d.o.b. and post code; I declined and asked them to mail me instead. Rang Lloyds afterwards and they told me that no Lloyds number starts with 0808 and that there was no issue to discuss. My advice is to block this number.

Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?

He sounded like he was from the Indian sub-continent, asked me if my postcode was correct and my phone number (which he had just rung) was correct, and whether I was between 18 and 75 yrs old.
