SCAM. Someone looking for dirt on someone. Offered cash for negative information so am guessing he is criminal, or a journalist if that is any different. Faked an American access and more likely to be Welsh probably.

Answered the phone and whoever was on other end just hung up!! Can't block it on my mobile BUT won't answer a call from this number again as it's listed under NUI...
Constant missed calls for a week. I answered and it was a polite lady from Vodafone trying to sell me something. She knew my name as I am a customer. When I said I was busy she said she will call back another time. This number does not appear on the Vodafone authorised numbers list although it is only one digit out from a lot of their numbers.

"Utility Care Club" claiming our subscription had been reduced. We aren't members. Sounded dodgy. Looked it up. It appears to be a real company (incorporated 2019). If it the real company, it ignored TPS, and told a falsehood on the phone. Umbrella company for servicing. Would not join one of these in any case. Definitely Spam.

Told me I d applied for a loan, I hadn t! Refused to give his details or tell me where he had got my number from. He was very rude demanding I agreed to applying for a loan and that I wanted one! I asked to speak with manager stating I believed fraud was being commited in my name. He said he was the manager and promptly hung up on me. Answered the phone and the call was terminated. With TPS, so shouldn t receive such calls. Did a search on the number and found other aggrieved parties.
As previous comments. Indian accent guy (same guy rang yesterday & today) and claimed my PC had a virus and we needed to fix it. Both times I told him to f**k off, get a propper job and I would report him to the Police - he then becomes agressive and argumentative
