I am confused by this. I recently received a call from this number about an annual service booking; the woman at the other end knew my name but wanted me to confirm my address and postcode, which I did. I agreed to a suggested date and time, and she tells me that I will be getting a call on the day to confirm. Passed call to her senior who wanted to “activate” the discount credit card and said needed to deposit £1.00 into my account to activate the account. SCAM Someone called “David” called trying to sell me a mobile phone contract. iPhone 13 pro max, 24 months with unlimited data, minutes and texts. For £40 a month. SPAM - potential scam Has the same 8 digits as my own phone number, I didn't answer as I didn't recognise. A very similar number (same first 8 digits) rang a few hours later.
Sky stole money from me. Sky threatened me. And then their CEO promised they would never contact me again. So why is it I keep getting harassed by this number. Don t pick up. Ignore all calls. The most untrustworthy and inept organisation I have ever had to deal with.
