Asked where she got my number she said Road Traffic Accident Department which obviously is twaddle, or there own internal RTA department. SCAM / SPAM I have just received a badly put together automated call from this number claiming to be HM Customs & Revenue and that there is currently an ongoing tax fraud investigation being carried out on me. It wanted me to press 1 on my keypad to speak to someone and said that if I did not do this an immediate arrest warrant would be issued in my name. Needless to say I ended the call, reported it and blocked the number.

SCAM Various calls relating to Online Trading, because some insurance company has passed them my details. Beware this particular idiot was calling from Estonia
Indian man who claimed to be from EE then claimed to be calling on behalf of all major mobile carriers and listed Virgin, O2, Vodaphone etc, demanded repeatedly my phone bill. Sounded hostile and claimed to be offering a 40% discount. The sound of chatter could be heard in the background. Block this number. The British government really needs to do more to safeguard citizens from whatever fraud they had planned.
Constant missed calls for a week. I answered and it was a polite lady from Vodafone trying to sell me something. She knew my name as I am a customer. When I said I was busy she said she will call back another time. This number does not appear on the Vodafone authorised numbers list although it is only one digit out from a lot of their numbers.
