Scam loan company asking about an application I made, advised the caller that no application was made and asked him to have my number removed from the system, he instead tried to convince me to apply for a loan instead.

Pre-recorded female voice (American accent) purporting to be HMRC but number coming up on iPhone as Newquay area. Couldn't clearly hear what was said but usual message engineered to put people under pressure while offering a "Press number 1" type option to be put through to scammers most likely. Just waited and it cut-off.
Rang to say she didn't want anything from me but as I was elderly she thought I might be lonely and need a chat. Said she was in East London and 16 yrs old sounding like a foreign call centre. I kept saying I'm not an oap.. im in my 50s.. and what scam are you running, what are you doing to my phone while we are talking .
