This line of numbers ( 01614646xxx) is mostly reported to be used for fake PPI telemarketing, so be aware... I can see at leat 4 numbers from the same range reported here with the same problem, people be really aware of this, if you pick it up double-check all info you provide them with...01614646170, 01614646171, ... all the same call centre.

Wanted to represent me for an accident I was supposed to have had but never did. They had no real detail to give me about this supposed accident when questioned. Told them I'd report them for the 5 nuisance calls Ive had from them so far.
One of those "we know you have had an accident" calls. I haven t so a scam. I just now answer and then quietly leave phone down and let them chat away and waste their ???? and time on calls

I received a call from someone who said she was from an indecipherable (!) company who was going to check I had the cheapest phone line rate. She said she had a few simple questions about my current phone line. When I asked again who she was working for, she replied she would put me through to " one of our lovely advisers". At this point I rang off.
Came home to find ansaphone message from this number - silence. Rate as most likely suspicious based on past experience.
