They are calling our telephone number in excess of 10 times a day -each time using a different tel number. East time we receive a call we ask that our number is removed from their calling list but they refuse to remove it. We have made it very clear that we don t want their calls. Caller claimed to be from a government department in reference to an accident 18 months ago, and persisted even when I said our number was registered with the TPS. Fairly threatening, saying that if I didn t cooperate my son might be in trouble because his file would remain open .

This is a number used by British Gas... generally to gain feedback after a British Gas engineer has visited your property (typically the day after)... Although still annoying, these types of calls are genuine (although I still ignored it).

This number has been "Spoofed" as there is no business in Neath where this number is based which is a lawyers etc. The number is being used by an overseas call centre to generate leads. DO NOT ANSWER OR DISCUSS AS THIS WILL ONLY MAKE IT WORSE!!!! You will get further calls as they pass your number on as a "live" number.

Im confused about these. I answered a call yesterday when I was at work. She said she was from virgin and needed to discuss my account. She wouldn t say why or give any indication as to what the call was about until I went through a security check.
