Received numerous calls on my mobile answered a few times to no response finally speaks to someone called Tony told me I d had an accident (which I never had) asked politely if he could ring me back tomorrow as I d seen it in the stars I was going to have the said accident, at that point we got disconnected?

Double glazing offer left message but premium number cost if I call them back.

This is an unsolicited call So far they are ringing at leat 3 times a day.

For about the 20th time. I m on tps as well and good ole Julie has promised to remove my number so many times. This company lies (I ve not been in any car accident and you know it!) and they treat removal requests with contempt.

Have previously had about three missed calls from this number - just picked up the latest call and they informed me that I d had a car accident at some point since July 2010 - I have never had a car accident, thank goodness. I asked them where they got this information from - they said they purchased these details from a company and had got them as I had registered the accident but hadn t claimed anything. This was a call from a person I know who as far as I know has no phone. Could it be a pre-paid card that you could use in a phone box?

Hal s reply is spot on. If someone sends a text message to your landline and you don t pick up the phone it gets stored for you to retrieve later. This 0795 number is where you collect the message, plus the number of the mobile phone that sent the text. It s not dangerous. All depends on what the text message says, of course - that could be anything. In my case it was someone texting to say Sorry I Missed Your Call. See? Not dangerous.

Some "fik" (thick) sounding muppet rang asking for my Missus, when I said "No", phone went dead. Rang number back and after a few rings it went dead.
